University of Siena

The University of Siena (UNISI) is one of the oldest universities in Europe, having been founded in 1240. It offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Long Cycle degree Courses, a large number of Doctoral programmes and Postgraduate Courses. Over the years UNISI has enhanced its strategy for internationalization, aiming to attract students and researchers from all parts of the world. Some of degrees are taught partially or entirely in English and double degree agreements have been set up. UNISI participates in the Erasmus programme since 1987 and in many international projects at international level, including numerous Jean Monnet activities. With over 17,000 students, UNISI confirms its position as the best amongst the medium sized Italian Universities for structures, study grants, and internationalization as stated in the Censis Research Institute classification 2017.

 

Fondazione Bruno Kessler

Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) is a research non-profit public interest entity. Through 2 scientific hubs, 7 research centers, 410 researchers, 2 specialized libraries, 7 laboratories, FBK aims to results of excellence in science and technology with particular emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches and to the applicative dimension. FBK achieves this thanks to its constant attention to collaborations and exchange activities with research organizations, which extend its innovation capability and involve the community in the circulation of knowledge and technologies.

 

European Centre for Minority Issues

The European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI) conducts practice and policy-oriented research, provides information and documentation, and offers advisory services concerning minority-majority relations in Europe. It serves European governments and regional intergovernmental organizations as well as non-dominant groups throughout. The Centre co-operates with the academic community, the media and the general public through the timely provision of information and analysis.

 

Matej Bel University – Criminological and Criminalistic Research Center

The Criminological and Criminalistic Research Center at the Faculty of Law of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (CCRC) is a specialized research center of the Faculty of Law for the examination of the protection of persons, property and other legally protected interests, which performs the scientific research and expert activities in accordance with the long-term development plan and intentions of the faculty / university. The  research activities primarily involve the praxeological problems regarding the fields of Criminal Law, Criminology, Cyber Crime Protection of Persons and Property by the Criminal Law.
